Ed Gorman is a writer of horror, mysteries and science fiction. He's been a faculty member at the Clarion Writers Workshop and a visiting professor at a number of colleges and universities. His short stories have appeared in over 100 anthologies, including Best Fantasy Stories, The Year's Best Horror Stories, and The Year's Best Science Fiction. In 2004, his first novel, "The Eternal Knot", won the Bram Stoker Award for Best First Novel
